Honey Lemon Poppyseed Vinaigrette

honeylemonpoppyseed-2Add the final touches to grilled fish, especially salmon with this vinaigrette.  Drizzle it over about any salad or use it as a dipping sauce for rosemary bread.


Juice of 3 Large lemons
½ Lemon Zest
60 ml (¼ c) Dry white wine
60 ml (¼ c) Extra virgin olive oil
60 ml (¼ c) Honey
1 clove Garlic, grated
10 ml (2 teasp) Grated onion
5 ml (1 teasp) Poppyseeds
5 ml (1 teasp) Toasted sesame seeds
5 ml (1 teasp) Sea Salt
5 ml (1 teasp) Freshly ground black pepper


  1. Place all in a large canning jar, shake vigorously before serving. Keeps in the refrigerator for two weeks.
